1. What we collect
Sign-up: name, email, profile photo, and date of birth (the last one only to confirm you are 18 or older). Provider: headline, categories, service areas, hours, and portfolio. Content you create: requests, quotes, text messages, reviews, and the photos you attach to a review. Preferences: language, device notification token, and what you want to receive. A record of your acceptance of these documents, with date, version, IP address, and browser — this is what evidences consent. Technical operating data (application errors, usage limits) and aggregate numbers (search appearances, profile views). We do NOT ask for identity documents and we do NOT receive card data.
2. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
To run what you came here for — connecting clients and providers, showing your profile in search, and delivering your messages (performance of a contract). For security, fraud and abuse prevention, moderation, and measuring how the product works (legitimate interest). To send alerts and notifications, which you can turn off whenever you want (consent). To comply with legal obligations where they apply. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell data.
3. Who we share with
Your provider profile is public by nature — it is the storefront. A client’s request is shown to providers in that category with CITY and STATE; the NEIGHBORHOOD is only revealed to a provider after the client accepts their quote. We do not sell your data. We rely on companies that operate parts of the service: Supabase (database, servers in São Paulo), Vercel (website hosting), Cloudflare (bot protection at sign-up), Sentry (technical error logging), Google (Google sign-in), and Expo/Google (push notifications). Some of them run servers outside Brazil, which involves international data transfer.
4. Your rights
You can view and correct your data on the profile screens, DOWNLOAD a copy of everything that is yours under "Your account" → "Download my data", and DELETE your account at any time — deletion removes your data and files from the platform. You may also withdraw notification consent in settings without losing the rest of the service. If you believe your rights were not respected, you may file a complaint with the ANPD (Brazil’s data protection authority).
5. Retention and security
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Some records have their own deadline and are deleted automatically: technical errors after 90 days, location cache after 180 days, searches with no results after 12 months, and audit records after 24 months. Three design decisions reduce what exists to leak in the first place: messages pass through a filter that strips phone-shaped sequences BEFORE storage; chat accepts no photos or files; and we collect no identity documents. We use per-user access control inside the database itself and encryption in transit. Published reviews are anonymous to the public — the reviewer’s name is not shown.
6. Who is responsible and how to reach us
The PRECISO HOJE platform is operated by NEX BRIDGE ASSESSORIA LTDA, Brazilian company registry 66.038.680/0001-40, which is responsible for processing your data. Sonia Fracalozzi Ellio acts as Data Protection Officer. For privacy questions or data requests (access, correction, portability or deletion), write to precisohoje976@gmail.com. We reply within 15 days, as required by the Brazilian data protection law (LGPD).
7. Cookies
We use the session cookie, which keeps you signed in after you log in, and Cloudflare's anti-bot check on the sign-in, sign-up and password-recovery screens — it stores a marker in your browser purely to tell people apart from bots. Both are required for the site to work safely, so they cannot be turned off without losing your login. We do NOT use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or audience analytics tools. If that ever changes, we will ask for your permission before enabling it, and you may refuse without losing any part of the service. You can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings (you will need to sign in again).
8. People under 18
PRECISO HOJE is for people 18 and older. We ask for date of birth at sign-up and refuse accounts from minors — the check runs on the server, not just on screen. We do not knowingly collect data from children or adolescents. If we identify an account created by someone under 18, it is closed and the data deleted.
